Last month, we teamed up with a

Yardley couple who had a clear vision for their

Laundry Area

home—and the motivation to make it happen. With young children and an active lifestyle, they needed storage that wasn’t just “pretty.” It had to be smart, flexible, and ready to keep up with real life.

Demo Day? They’ve Got This.

These homeowners didn’t just sit back and wait for the magic—they rolled up their sleeves, tackled the demo, and even installed their own flooring. By the time we stepped in for the design, cabinetry and installation, the space was primed for (quick!) transformation. Their wish list? A laundry area, walk-in pantry, and drop zone that could all work together without feeling cramped or chaotic. We designed a layout where each zone had a job. The pantry added custom shelves from floor to ceiling, with room for everything from lunch snacks to bulk buys. A butcher block counter doubled as a prep and pack station—perfect for sorting laundry or getting school bags ready. And for all the quick trips in and out of the door - the “where does this go?” bench with cubbies, giving every item a home and a space to prevent pileup in places it doesn't belong.

Step inside and you’re met with rich wood-tone floors and deep, slate tile Shiloh Cabinetry that instantly make the space feel polished. Tall storage provides organization without crowding the room, and crown molding gives it that finished, custom look. Picket style backsplash adds a splash of trend that blends well with the overall classic look. The homeowners added a gorgeous blue-gray botanical wallpaper—soft, stylish, and totally them. The real win? This space works for the whole family. The bench and cubbies handle the chaos, and durable materials mean it’s built for the long haul. It’s not just a laundry room—it’s the calm in the storm.
